Kierra started her medical journey at the age of 16 graduating from Salt Lake Community College’s Dental Assisting program. After 8 years in the various areas of dental assisting including oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric, and general family dentistry, Kierra decided to go to Nursing school. Since graduating from Nursing school Kierra has worked at the University of Utah working with patients who struggled with drug use, drug overdose, mental health, and other various health-related issues due to drug use and mental health issues. Before Daniels Academy, Kierra worked at Heber Valley Hospital in the operating room seeing a wide variety of surgeries including general, ortho, emergency, women’s health, children, and adolescents. Kierra plans to further her education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Nursing.
Kierra enjoys working with the youth and learning about therapeutic processes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to visit her family on the Oregon Coast, hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring the great outdoors with her two children.
