Ann Ngatai is a Primary Therapist at Daniel’s Academy. She comes from Southern California by way of Hawaii. Ann has attended to her education while also living all over the U.S. Together with her husband, she has been active in raising her four children. Ann’s life has been exemplified by her personal goal of trying to be the best person she can be by helping others and doing what she can, in small ways, for her local community. She has realized her professional goal of obtaining her doctorate in Counseling Psychology and becoming a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Ann loves all things Japanese, as she lived in Japan as a missionary, studied the language in college, and was a Japanese tour guide for five years. She enjoys biking on the beautiful trails in Park City and Provo Canyon. She considers her area of strength to be building a relationship of trust with students so that together, they can identify areas that need improvement. Ann is an expert at working with her students to develop skills toward independence and becoming successful at navigating this world in healthy and appropriate ways.
